A day on the job
As a product manager at Origin, you will touch nearly all arms of the company:

Business development

Create relationships with customers and understand the ins-and-outs of their product

Take in product requirements and convert critical functionality into defined features, keeping in mind technical feasibility

Engineering
-
Brainstorm and refine user stories; outline "trigger docs" and product requirement documents to guide development sprints

Steer agile processes to develop Origin's internal WiFi Sensing products and roadmap
-
Develop and execute test plans with our research and algorithms team, ensuring success criteria is met

Manage and check-in with deployment engineers who implement our WiFi Sensing software stack across firmware, cloud, and web/mobile layers
-
Iterate with our QA team to make sure everything works properly

Marketing

Assist with research on adjacent, complementary, and competing products and technologies

Work with our marketing teams to create materials for our customers to help them market and sell WiFi Sensing to consumers

Strategy

Help shape Origin's product roadmap, uncovering the many potential WiFi Sensing applications

Work closely with the business development to realize new revenue opportunities and capitalize on them
-
Strive to stay educated on all things ambient sensing, healthcare, security, and anything else Origin leadership should be aware of

Our preferred qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science or equivalent
-
Technical background with 3+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and product management
-
Experience with products involving two or more technology layers: hardware, firmware, cloud, UI/UX and their dependencies
-
Awareness of machine learning, AI theory, and experiment design
-
Awareness of use-cases for the following programming languages: C++ , Matlab, Python, Javascript
-
Familiarity with design and wire-framing tools such as Adobe XD, Miro, and Powerpoint
-
Ability to swiftly curate marketing content such as demo videos, white papers, and slide decks
-
